THE JOURNEY

I began playing soccer when I was four years old, because I wanted to be just like my big brother, John. It wasn't long before I developed my own passion for the game and began traveling across the United States with the Eastern New York State Olympic Development Program.

UNIVERSITY OF MARYLAND

I earned a scholarship to the University of Maryland and quickly secured a spot in the starting lineup for the Terps, controlling the midfield as a Freshman before tearing my ACL entering my Sophomore season. After a restless red-shirt year, I returned to the midfield to lead the Terps to a No. 3 seed in the NCAA tournament and a Sweet 16 appearance.

I never dreamed about success, I worked for it.”

SPORTING KANSAS CITY

I hung up the cleats and garnered a year of work experience before joining the Communications & Digital team at Sporting Kansas City.

FC KANSAS CITY

After a two-year hiatus from the game, I earned a spot as a reserve for FC Kansas City in the National Women's Soccer League for the 2014 and 2015 seasons, while continuing to work full-time for Sporting KC. I played in just one game, logging 52 minutes in a 2-1 defeat against the Western New York Flash…But, FCKC won back-to-back League titles in 2014 and 2015.

That’s me, No. 20, kicking the ball in the general direction of the goal. Go me!
